Pepper Crusted Filet Mignon is an ideal meal to serve during special occasions. Imagine the delicious taste of this prime-cut steak with all the juice coming out right after every slice, this dish is truly magnificent.

Filet mignon is also called cute fillet and dainty filet. It refers to a special cut of beef taken from the tenderloin. This is considered as the tenderest part of the beef and is the most expensive too. While there might be some hesitations with regards to the price, it is better to check your grocer’s sale schedule or avail of coupons in order to save money.

The steak that you’ll have after following the recipe is medium rare. This means that the outside is cooked, but the inside is still red. This is the common steak preparation done in steak houses. However, if you wish your steak rare then you can omit the baking part. To those who want a medium well steak, try adding more baking time.

Old Country Buffet is currently advertising their $5.99 weekend buffet breakfast and since this is only for a limited time, we decided to give it a try right away. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was astonished by the number of people waiting in line to be seated. The line is long enough to reach the entrance and at this point I was thinking of going back and have breakfast elsewhere but the enticing aroma kept us waiting in line.
