BLT Sandwich

BLT stands for Bacon Lettuce and Tomato. This is a type of bacon sandwich wherein bacon is served either well-cooked or extra crispy. For bacon lovers, this sandwich is without a doubt the most genius invention placed between slices of bread.

Both my kids love bacon. Whenever I make BLT sandwich for their school lunch, I am confident that there will be no left-over in their lunch boxes. Yes, they finish everything even the lettuce and tomato. Being my ultimate taste testers, it gives me the feeling of accomplishment whenever they finish every food that I prepare for them.

Cooking crispy bacon is a simple thing to do. It does not matter how you do it, but rather how long you do it. Crisping bacon in an ordinary pan will take you more time unless you intend to work with only a few slices. I usually use an electric griddle to cook bacon. Its wide surface enables me to fit an average pack of bacon and cook everything in one batch. In addition, I also get some extra space to cook eggs and grill or toast bread.
