What are the Best Places to Eat-in Metro Manila?

What are the Best Places to Eat in Metro Manila? What are these restaurants or food joints famous for?

Over the years, Manila and its neighboring cities grew and developed to be the countryโ€™s premier gastronomic capital. Hundreds of new restaurants, bars, and food joints sprouted, each offering a fascinating menu selection and a cozy ambience.

People who have been away from the Philippines for a long time, like our modern-day heroes (OFW), balikbayans, and even tourists, will be surprised on how Manilaโ€™s food scene has evolved. I, for one, was amazed too see the swift transformation after being away for only a few years.

Places to eat in Manila

People who have been away from the Philippines for a long time, like our modern-day heroes (OFW), balikbayans, and even tourists, will be surprised on how Manilaโ€™s food scene has evolved. I, for one, was amazed too see the swift transformation after being away for only a few years.

Among the new food spots that caught my attention was a restaurant in San Rafael, Mandaluyong City called Lime. You see, I love street foods and this place takes street foods to a whole new level. If you are within the vicinity, you better try this place out to see what Iโ€™m talking about.

One thing that did not surprise me was the constant heavy traffic. I traveled everyday to meet friends and family to make-up for the lost time. It is really tiring to be in the middle of a traffic jam for several hours, everyday. Good thing there is a place where you can eat and relax. Iโ€™m not sure if there is a proper term to address this concept, but I call it a restaurant-spa. I found a place within the CCP complex called Wensha, where you can take all your stress away and pig-out in their sumptuous buffet.

Of course, Dampa will always be there. Besides the original fresh seafood market in Paranaque, Seaside Dampa in Macapagal Avenue, Pasay City, and Dampa sa Libis are there to satisfy your appetite.

There are many more good places to eat in Metro Manila, and I believe that you might have tried some of them.

What are the Best Places to Eat in Metro Manila that you can recommend?

Three Sisters home cooked style restaurant at East Capitol, Pasig City (main) and a branch at Tiendesitas. They also have a branch at the Macapagal area. My family have been dining and ordering take out at the main restaurant for more than 30 years. I love their Pork BBQ (their best seller), pansit bihon, crispy beef ribs, fish sinigang etc. Some items on the menu are authentic Pasig flavors. Prices are very reasonable.
