Positive Health Effects of Coffee
Millions of people depend on coffee for their daily morning boost. Though there were several negative studies about the effects of Coffee on health in the past, people are still habitually consuming it mainly because of its stimulating effect that helps increase alertness.
It is said that ingesting Caffeine, a bitter crystalline alkaloid that acts as a mild stimulant found in coffee, can lead to restlessness, insomnia, and other health issues. This is probably the main reason why some people avoid drinking coffee. Did you know that recent studies show that coffee is not that bad at all? In fact, there are conditions that coffee can control: such as Asthma. It is said that coffee can control mild Asthma attacks when medication is not available. Also, risks of having Colon Cancer, Gallstones, Liver cirrhosis can be reduced significantly by drinking at least 2 cups of coffee per day.
Sounds interesting, isn’t it? Have I mentioned that coffee can also cure mild headaches and helps prevent dental cavities from forming? Coffee is also attributed in reducing the risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes, restore appetite, and refresh olfactory receptors.
These are just some of the positive effects that I’ve read while trying to justify my habit. If you want to dig deeper, I suggest you consult a medical expert or research more on this topic. Cheers!

EVERYTHING SHOULD BE TAKEN IN MODERATION….What’s important is we know when to stop doing things…if we feel that our body is not responding positively in what we are eating or drinking….then,STOP….TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR BODY..FOR THE BIBLE SAID, OUR BODY IN NOT OURS, IT IS THE TEMPLE OF CHRIST JESUS….MAY THE GOOD LORD BLESS US ALL ALWAYS!

I beg to differ on one issue -- I believe coffee does not restore appetite, it actually suppresses your appetite because of the caffeine in it. It also makes you pee a lot, thus also considered a good diuretic effect. On the issue of diabetes -- you have to drink the coffee dark and minus the sugar and the creamer or gatas because it encourages the release of insulin in the bloodstream thereby decreasing the glucose sa dugo or in the bloodstream. But you know they say, everything has to be in moderation. Sa mga nagda-diet black coffee is a go-go!!
@ raul -- I guess u drink too much caffeine because that’s what caffeine does too you, it gives u restless nerves and makes u jittery. It’s funny this is what searching for the Pan de Sal recipe brought me to. Thanks for letting me share on this site.

if it is true coffee is for good health sometimes? why if i am drinking coffee i felt nerveous all the time and my hand sometimes shaking?…i love to drink coffee but thats the side effect for me when im drinking coffee everyday.

If you get nervous after drinking coffee or have palpitations or your hand is shaking try reducing the amount of your coffee granules or drink decaffenaited coffee instead. Your body can’t manage the rush that coffee gives to you so try small amount and it will get better eventually and in time your body will adjust to the effects of coffee and never palpitate again or shake or get nervous. Enjoy!

I certainly agree with you that drinking coffee has good effects on our health. It has been studied and proven.
But all this things as they say should not come to an excess, no matter how good it is.
So coffee lovers out there, drink and be alive! 🙂
