This is my in-depth review of Instapot IPDUO60 7-in-1 Multi Cooker. In this review, I put the unit unto a series of tests and I documented each of it by including the details in the video. You might be surprised with the result. There are affiliate links in this posts which will lead to the site where you can buy this product.
The video below shows my detailed review on the Instapot IPDUO60 7-in-1 Multi Cooker. The first part s the unboxing wherein you will see what is included in the box. There are also scenes in the video wherein I demonstrated how to use the cooker to prepare some dishes.
- The first thing that I did was to test on how well this product is in cooking rice. Check the video to see how it went.
- If you love dishes such as stew, you should see how I used this unit to cook Beef Mechado. This will also work well for pork mechado and other dishes that require tougher meats.
- I also took some time to test the slow cooker functionality by making Slow Cooked Pulled Pork. It was awesome. I was using this product to make pulled pork ever since.

Hi Vanjo,
I’m the cook in our house and from what I have read, the IP is exactly what I need. Where can I purchase the 220V model of this?
Vanjo Merano says
Hi Raymond, I believe that the models are only based on North American specifications. I am based in the US, that is why there is no need to use an electricity transformer device.

Hi Vanjo,
I would like to ask you where I can possibly purchase this product. Am having trouble with finding one compatible to our 220V sockets here in the Philippines. Can you help me out? :)
Thanks!
Charles

Hi Vanjo i did not see the link where to buy this product in Philippines so can you let me know? Thanx

I just bought that same InstaPot and would like to know if I can just convert regular stove cooking in your site into the InstaPot and retain the same flavor.
Vanjo Merano says
Hey Marilou, the recipes in this website are for stovetop, unless specified otherwise.
Marilou de la Cruz says
Yes, I know your recipes are for stovetops and that is the reason why I asked the question. I know that there is a difference in the quantity of liquids being added to the recipe but am afraid to experiment for fear of ruining my dish. People depend on me for their lunch and/or dinner, you know … lol.
Today I left another comment wishing that you would add more of IP recipes (or even have a separate blog for them) but that might be asking too much especially from a busy blogger like you. However, many “cooks” now are converting their regular stove cooking into IP cooking, which is so much convenient, and I thought it would make sense for cooking sites like yours to include them, too. But, of course, I am still in a wishful-thinking stage now. BTW, I cooked your Beef Mechado recipe in the Instant Pot and it came out great, better than stovetop cooking because we noticed it retained much of the flavors. My family loved it!!!!
Thanks! Keep up your good work!!!
