Asian Food
Today is our market day. Its the time to go to the grocery and pick-up all the food supplies needed for the week. Right now, we decided to go to Super H Mart, a Korean grocery located in Niles, Illinois (Waukegan and Oakton).This is the place to shop for seafoods, vegetables, and meat. I thought of grabbing some blue crab, squid, shrimps, and some pork belly for grilling.

Right now, we decided to go to Super H Mart, a Korean grocery located in Niles, Illinois (Waukegan and Oakton).This is the place to shop for seafoods, vegetables, and meat. I thought of grabbing some blue crab, squid, shrimps, and some pork belly for grilling. Of course, we also intended to try Asian Food.
We arrived there within lunch time so we decided to dine in the mini food court. There are lots of food selections featuring different Asian Cuisines. I felt eating Japanese food today so I ordered a bowl of Beef Udon Soup. My wife ordered the Sushi Combo while my daughter got some California Maki. My son got pork Dumplings from the Chinese stall.
Beef Udon Soup
The Beef Udon Soup was phenomenal. The soup is full of flavor and the beef melts in your mouth. This is served in a huge bowl that 2 people can share.
California Maki
California Maki or California Roll is always a nice choice. The imitation crab meat, avocado, and cucumber combination never ceases to amaze the palate.
Pork Dumplings
Pork Dumplings make a great appetizer. This version is exploding with flavor.
Sushi Combo
Sushi was the best. The tuna and salmon were fresh and the texture is just about right. A definite must try!
