Cilantro Lime Chicken

Looking for a delicious and healthy chicken recipe? This cilantro lime chicken recipe might interest you.

Cilantro Lime Chicken requires boneless and skinless chicken breasts to be marinated in lime, cilantro, olive oil, and spices. It is recommended to marinade the chicken overnight to absorb all the flavors. Once the chicken absorbs the flavor, the chicken is grilled until both sides are just about done. This maintains the juices inside the chicken which makes it tender, tasty, and succulent.

I like to enjoy my food without feeling guilty about it. That is the reason why I like this chicken recipe. It is low in fat and high in protein.

I love having this dish along with some steamed broccoli or asparagus. Sometimes I eat this with sauteed spinach too. You can use your imagination and pair this chicken recipe with whatever sides you want.

Try this Cilantro Lime Chicken Recipe and let me know what you think.

Ingredients:

4 pieces boneless chicken breasts

1/2 cup cilantro, chopped

2 tablespoons lime juice

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon garlic, minced

2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Procedure:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine cilantro, lime juice, olive oil garlic, salt, and ground black pepper.

2. Put-in the chicken breasts and coat with the mixture. Marinate for at least 3 hours. Note: It will be better to marinate the chicken overnight. This can be done by covering the bowl with cling wrap and refrigerate.

3. Grill the chicken breasts for about 6 to 8 minutes per side or until each side is done. Do not grill for too long as the juices may dry-out.

4. Transfer to a serving plate then serve.

5. Share and enjoy!

I find that Chicken breast is my favorite part of the whole chicken, not only because it’s very meaty but it’s the most healthiest and less fatty and I guess that is a good thing now a days.
