Pulled Pork Crock Pot is an easy to make pork dish that is best eaten with bread such as potato bread, Kaiser rolls, or hamburger buns. I also enjoy eating pulled crock pot with grilled corn.
Although this pulled pork crock pot recipe is simple, you will need to let the pork cook slowly in a slow cooker for several hours in low heat. This cooking process will bring out the entire flavor from the pork while making the meat as tender as it can be. Don’t worry; the long wait is worth it.
Instead of just using barbecue sauce to make your pulled pork crock potโ which you always can, especially when you are too lazy to mix the ingredients โ I tried to combine brown sugar with vinegar and other seasonings. These ingredients are pretty much used to make barbecue sauce anyway. I also used Filipino sugar cane vinegar (I think that this is awesome, by the way). At the end, I was able to achieve the perfect pulled pork taste that I wanted.
After several hours of slow cooking, it is time to enjoy your pulled pork crock pot. Youโll notice that there will be more liquid in the slow cooker. This is the liquid that came out of the pork during the process. It is very tasty, so make sure that you do not throw the liquid away. What you can do is to pour the liquid in a saucepan and cook it on a stovetop until it reduces to half or so. This will be the sauce of your pulled pork crock pot.
