You can either purchase blueberry flavored yogurt from the supermarket, or create your own with fresh blueberries. This Healthy Frozen Blueberry Yogurt was the result when I chose the second option. There is nothing fancy about it. The entire process is simple too.
This is the result when fresh blueberries are combined with vanilla flavored Greek yogurt and honey. All I did was to puree the ingredients using a food processor, secured it in a covered container, and kept it inside the freezer for at least 3 hours.
The result was good. The flavors of the blueberries and vanilla came together in a harmonious way. I can also taste a bit of sweetness from the honey. Overall, it was delicious and pleasant to my palate. I think that this will be my alternative to ice cream from now on. I can indulge on it while not feeling the guilt.

Healthy Frozen Blueberry Yogurt Recipe
- 2 cups vanilla Greek Yogurt
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup honey
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Turn the unit on and start to puree for 1 minute or until all the ingredients are well blended and the texture starts to get smoother.
- Remove the blueberry yogurt mixture from the processor and transfer to container with cover. Place inside the frezer for at least 3 hours.
- Scoop some Healthy Frozen Blueberry Yogurt and arrange in a serving bowl. Have this for dessert or during snacktime.
