BBQ Beef Short Ribs turn an ordinary weekend into something special. The aroma from the grill fills the yard and invites everyone to gather. I like to marinate the ribs early and start grilling just before lunch so we can enjoy them hot off the grates. If you want a full barbecue spread, you can add pork barbecue to the table for more grilled goodness.

Getting to Know BBQ Beef Short Ribs
Beef short ribs come from the lower rib area and carry deep beefy flavor with natural tenderness. Thin crosscut slices cook quickly while staying juicy. The marinade in this recipe uses banana ketchup, soy sauce, and lime juice to build a blend of sweet, salty, and tangy notes. I like how the glaze turns shiny over medium heat and how the edges take on gentle char.
