We haven’t even mentioned the best part: how simple it is to make! In no time at all, you and your loved ones will be chowing down on this delicious twist on your lunchtime favorite.

How to make it

A great thing about these cheesy corned beef balls is how easy it is to get ingredients for it! First, you have your star of the show: CDO Home Style Corned Beef. Next, you need your bread crumbs, eggs, and all purpose flour for its stunning golden brown outer layer. Cooking oil will be necessary for the deep frying you’ll be doing. And of course, it wouldn’t be cheesy without some deliciously rich mozzarella cheese! The creamy, delicate taste of this cheese in particular will balance out the natural saltiness of your corned beef with ease.

Quick tip:

If you want your corned beef balls on the slightly heavier side, you can also add some potatoes to your mix! Fans of corned beef with potatoes will surely love this rendition of the dish, as it gives you an even more satisfying, starchy bite!

Making the balls

Let’s start cooking! To make your corned beef balls, first combine CDO corned beef, an egg, flour, and salt and ground black pepper in a bowl. Mix well until the combination becomes less sticky. If you feel like your mix needs more flour, feel free to add as much as necessary. When you’re happy with your mixture’s texture, scoop around three tablespoons of the same. Then, stuff the center with mozzarella cheese, and roll the mixture around to form your ball shape. Keep doing this until you’ve made all your corned beef balls and have them ready for the next step of this process.

Coating the corned beef spheres

Now you have to get the three corners of your workstation ready! Fill up three different bowls with three different ingredients: first with flour (five tablespoons should do), second with a beaten egg, and the third with breadcrumbs. When you have your assembly line in order, it’s time to — as the name suggests — assemble! Dredge each of your corned beef balls through the flour, and then dip them in the bowl with your egg.Roll it around in breadcrumbs and make sure that you’ve completely coated every corner of your corned beef balls.

We’ve finally come to the exciting part! After heating your cooking oil in a cooking pot, deep fry your corned beef balls on a low heat setting. Careful not to get any oil on you; it can be pretty hot! Watch as each of your cheesy corned beef balls turns a beautiful golden brown, then take them out of the pot to dry. You can set them on a plate lined with paper towels to make sure you’ve soaked up all the excess oil.

Arrange your corned beef balls on a serving plate, and you’re finally done! You and your family can now dig into this breakfast treat with a twist! You’ll never want corned beef the same way again after these cheesy corned beef balls!
